Info for Open Climbing at Southeast's Private Crag:

Southeast Mountain Guides is coming in big this year for Rocktoberfest! To make the week just a little more special, they're opening up their private crags to the public! Here's what you need to know:

Southeast Mountain Guides will not charge for this experience, but they are asking patrons to donate directly to the coalition. Climbers must be experienced, and have all of their own equipment. A helmet must be worn at all times - including while hiking, at the base, and climbing. If you do not own a helmet, you can rent one from Southeast for $8. A waiver must be signed upon arrival.

Photos, route names, grades, or descriptions can not be posted anywhere since this is a private crag. A paper map of routes will be provided upon arrival, and will need to be returned at the end of their session. Any Southeast guided trip has priority over the routes. Any Southeast team member may ask for rules to be followed or patrons will have to leave.

Open Climb times:

  • Thursday 10/8/26: 9:30 am - 5pm
  • Friday 10/9/26: 9:30am - 1:30pm
  • Sunday 10/11/26: 9:30am - 5pm

Thank you to Southeast Mountain Guides for sharing your private crags for RF weekend!
