Chocolate Factory Revitalization (10 volunteers needed)Ever get grumpy when you see the erosion under Grumpalump? Do you miss the snozzberries that used to grow on the slope under that route? Then have we got a project for you! Install a state of the art split rail fence to help people avoid these areas and help to put in topsoil and vegetation! Stairs are going in to maintain quick access from landing pads back to belay stations.

Go Ruck Chocolate Factory (10 volunteers needed)Want a workout? Need to get some cardio in, but hate running? Add weight! Why not help carry out the supplies for stairs and fencing, and get the kiddoes some fresh air while you are at it! We have a lot of pressure treated wood that needs to go out… no assembly required! Take the kids along! Give them smaller pieces to carry! (You may want to bring a pillow, sweatshirt, backpack, or other form of padding to cushion your shoulder while carrying materials)
Reframing the Gallery- Carved in stone (10 volunteers needed)Our feature project push! Continue the erosion control project with rock retaining walls under the Happy Trails, The King, and Johnny Be Good! It will look so much nicer than the loose logs!
- Move heavy rocks!
- Move backfill and smash it with a hammer!
Reframing the Gallery- Frames of wood (10 volunteers needed)The next level of erosion control below 27 years of climbing! But this level will go far faster with wood! Place a split rail fence to help discourage people from wandering where they shouldn't… And get to stand on the wrong side of it!!! (You may want to bring a pillow, sweatshirt, or other form of padding to cushion your shoulder while carrying materials)
- Haul fence and retaining wall lumber to the site
- Build a retaining wall
- Smash giant nails with a hammer!

Reframe the Gallery- Artistic flow (10 volunteers needed)The farther approach to the Gallery crosses the stream at a muddy and swampy spot. This project will reroute the water as it drains into the creek, and create rock stepping stones to access the bridge with happy and dry feet!
Finish the Vault Toilet (6 volunteers needed)Interested in putting the final touches on the vault toilet in the MFRP. This is your chance. This project will be working on the finishing touches to make the toilet a thing of beauty.
The Green Team (24 volunteers needed)Want to help but you are super introverted? Would you prefer to walk in the woods with your kids and wear them out? We have some light work for those with tender backs, young ones, or the socially resistant. Trimming trail vegetation back weed-whipping, and whimsy are all part of the day. Bring your own clippers, shears, loppers, or gas weedwhipper and you were made for this job!
Go Ruck! MFRP and Gallery (10 volunteers needed)Want a workout? Need to get some cardio in, but hate running? Add weight! (You may want to bring a pillow, sweatshirt, backpack, or other form of padding to cushion your shoulder while carrying materials.)
Armor in Short Supply (10 volunteers needed)Noticed how muddy it is taking the bridge across Miller fork on the shortcut trail below Chaos? Changing the drainage and creating a raised path with gravel and rock from the nearby stream are very helpful ways to keep the trail from sinking into the bog of eternal sorrow…
Corner Pocket Trail (10 volunteers needed)Whether you are solids or stripes, this one’s in the bag! Cut a new trail from the old roadbed up to Corner Pocket. Basic trail clearing, brushing, and cutting. Obliterate the old trail. This is one of the first access trails we are focusing on now that the main artery trails are in place!
Coal Bank Bridge (4 volunteers needed)Heavy spring floods and downed trees have rerouted the stream at the entrance to Coal Bank. Sediment has built up around it. Help restore it to an easy passage from the rite of passage it has become!
Russian Roulette (10 volunteers needed)If you don’t care what you do, and you don’t care where you do it… leave it up to chance! We will place you where we need you the most!
Administrative and Trail Leaders (30 volunteers needed)Note: Only sign up for this group if you've been given prior approval, thank you.
If you are already coordinated to help with set-up, registration, lead a crew, or other boring admin stuff, this is where you sign up! If not, then party on, Wayne…
