How to Report Invasive Species on RRGCC Property

The most effective way to report invasive species on RRGCC property is by using iNaturalist. These reports will be reviewed by our Land Manager in order to address the issues. 

iNaturalist is a popular free app and website that is designed to help users identify plants, animals, and fungi by uploading photos. It also functions as a social network for nature enthusiasts. 

Why we recommend it for reporting invasive species: Uploading your observations creates a global, crowdsourced database used by researchers to monitor biodiversity.

Locally, we use it to monitor both biodiversity on our properties as well as invasive species.
